Some Things Don’t Go As Planned Because You Deserve Better

“Everything happens for a reason.” I’ve always believed that every experience, every twist and turn, carries a purpose — a greater reason that’s ultimately for your own good, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment.

There are moments in life when you’ve poured your heart into praying, manifesting, and hoping for something you’ve always dreamed of. Sometimes, it happens just as you imagined. Other times, it doesn’t, and it can leave you feeling broken and discouraged. But here’s the truth: it’s not because you’re not good enough or undeserving. It’s because you’re meant for something far greater than what you had envisioned.

You are worthy of all the beautiful things life has to offer. When you don’t get what you want, it’s not because you’ve failed, but because it wasn’t aligned with your highest good. Sometimes, what you think you want isn’t the best fit for you, and life has a way of redirecting you to something better.

When life doesn’t go as planned, I hope you can take a moment to breathe and remind yourself to be kind to your heart. Resist the urge to criticize yourself or question your worth. It’s okay if things don’t go your way — you’re not meant to control everything. Life unfolds in ways we can’t always understand, and sometimes the greatest gifts come disguised as disappointments.

Always remember: “What’s meant for you will never pass you by.” If you don’t get what you want, it’s not because you’re unworthy — it’s because you’re destined for something even better. If you have something and it slips away, it served its purpose. Maybe it was meant to teach you a lesson, to help you grow, or to prepare you for what’s next. And if something hasn’t arrived yet, it’s simply not time. Trust the process. Trust yourself.

Know that you should never settle for less than what you deserve. Sometimes, we convince ourselves that something is meant for us simply because we want it so badly. But life knows better. The job you didn’t get, the school you weren’t accepted into, the relationship that ended — it all happened for a reason. These closed doors aren’t failures; they’re signs pointing you in the direction of something even greater.

Every rejection is a redirection. Every detour is part of a greater plan. You may not see it now, but one day, you’ll look back and realize how everything fell into place, even the moments that felt like falling apart. God is guiding you toward something more meaningful, something that will never pass you by, because it was always meant to be yours.

So, trust the timing. Trust the process. And above all, trust that you are deserving of the best this life has to offer. You were never meant to settle, and you never will.
