Hi! How are you? Life has been a rollercoaster of emotions, right? It’s full of ups and downs, twists and turns, because they are all part of the ride. There are times when everything feels heavy, but I want you to know that you are not a burden for feeling that way. It’s completely okay, and sometimes, it gets lighter if you let it out.

“It’s okay to cry and let it all out when it feels too much to handle and your heart is heavy. Remember, even the clouds rain too when things get heavy.”

I came across this quote on TikTok and I want to remind you also that it’s okay to let it out. Your emotions are valid. It’s okay to feel what you feel.

You don’t have to be everybody’s strong girl all the time. It’s okay to cry and to feel sad. Just because you see yourself as a strong person doesn’t mean you don’t have the right to be vulnerable and experience pain. Acknowledge all your emotions, not just the ones that make you feel strong.

When everything feels heavy and you feel like crying, go ahead and cry. If you hesitate because you think crying is a sign of weakness, remember that true strength also lies in vulnerability. You are strong for allowing yourself to feel, for not invalidating your emotions, and for releasing the weight you carry. Crying is very okay, and sometimes it’s the only way to release your emotions that’s pent up, so just let it out.

If you’re used to wiping your tears alone, know that you have me. You can open up to me anytime. You can run to me when things get tough. You can tell me what’s bothering you, and I will always lend my shoulder for you to lean or cry on. I’ll do my best to comfort you without invalidating what you feel. I will always be your kakampi (ally) in this cruel world.

If you prefer not to open up to others, consider expressing your emotions through writing. Whether it’s writing on your diary and notes app or ranting on your private social media account, writing can also be a powerful outlet for your feelings.

If you can’t find the words to express what you’re feeling, just let the tears flow. It’s okay to sit down and release your emotions through crying — sometimes, that’s all you need to do. After all, you’re only human, and it’s perfectly okay to cry. It’s okay to admit that today you might not be strong, but you will be again in time.

No matter how big or small or heavy your feelings are, just let them out. You are neither petty nor a burden; your emotions are valid and deserve to be expressed.

You are valued, you are heard, you are strong, and you deserve to feel supported and understood. Take things one step at a time, and know that it’s okay to ask for help or seek solace whenever you need it.

If things get tough, just let it all out. If you feel like crying, cry it all out. Know that it’s okay not to be okay.

Your feelings are valid. Always.

Letting it all out is not surrendering but freeing yourself. Embrace your tears as a release for it is a way to lighten your heart and soul.
